1.Visiting the Exhibition “Qian Xuesen---Scientist of the People” 

Location: Exhibition Hall 3 and 4 on the 2^nd floor

Duration: 30 minutes

Introduction and visiting routes:

1. Determining to serve the country in his early years

2. Engraving motherland in heart 

3. Overcoming obstacles and returning to China

4. Watching a short video: be loyal to the Chinese people

5. Correspondence from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Council about Qian Xuesen’s return.

6. Telegram from Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ to Qian Xuesen in the name of Qian’s father 

7. Qian Xuesen’s remarks when leaving the US in September, 1955

Note:  (1)~(4) will be in Exhibition Hall 3, and (5)~(7) will be in Exhibition Hall 4.

2.Watching a feature film “Qian Xuesen---Scientist of the People”

Location: Audio Hall on the 2^nd floor

Duration: 30 minutes

Introduction: understanding Qian Xuesen’s whole life and experiencing his five-year’s struggle to return to China.

[Notes]

1. Audiences who prefer a visit without the film can tour around all four exhibition halls in 60 minutes.

2. Middle school and primary school students can have a copy of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” handout  to have a thematic visit accordingly.
