Exhibition| Design+Future: Joint Exhibition of University Students in Shanghai

2019年07月01日

University museums undertake a classic duty as a lab of innovation and demonstration for university students. QLM's recent exhibition works exactly as a "work station" for students of design and arts disciplines to showcase their ideas of future.

This joint exhibition features students design works from School of Design in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Architecture and Urban Planning & School of Design and Innovation, as well as School of Art and Media in Tongji University, School of Art in East China Normal University, School of Mechanical Engineering in Donghua University, and others. This exhibition aims to highlight the concept of “design for the future” and “design for a better life” and strives to build a platform for exchanges between students in different colleges and universities in Shanghai.

Nearly 40 design works are displayed in the exhibition. They cover different disciplines and genres, from architectural design, product design, visual communication, environmental design to landscape architecture, urban and rural planning, and fine arts. Some choose to use visual expression of traditional culture in rural garden design; others combine artistic language into smart city design works.
