QLM Starts First Online Lesson in the New Semester

February 15 is the first day of the new semester for primary and secondary schools in Shanghai. Qian Xuesen Library & Museum, therefore, launched the theme course of “Chasing the Dream of Star Sea”. Students from over 10 middle schools gathered online for the first lesson.

 

The course is divided into three teaching sessions: “Travelling-the way to lay the foundation”, “Immersion- dialogue between time and space” and “Collision-Man and AI”. Starting from the future technology in the film “Wandering the Earth”, the course skillfully combines the exhibition, collection, and research resources of QLM as a whole. The teaching team is composed of the instructors, curators, researchers and science educators of QLM to tell the historical development of China’s aerospace industry, pioneered by Qian Xuesen.

The course as a starting point, QLM will integrate the existing exhibition, collection, experts and curriculum resources to design a series of courses suitable for students at different learning stages and serve more teenagers in Shanghai, even from all the country.
