QLM Welcomed Its Two Millionth Visitor

On July 21st 2023, Qian Xuesen Library & Museum hosted a special ‘Museum Night’ to welcome the two millionth visitor. Huang Jing, a young engineer from the Shanghai Institute of Space Control Technology, became the 2000000th visitor.

 

Huang Jing said that every time she visited QLM, she is deeply moved by the deeds and spirits of Qian Xuesen. She will take the pioneer in China’s early aerospace industry as an example to inherit their spirits and responsibilities.

 

The special Museum Night also featured a combined concert with chamber music and story-telling. The program chosen six outstanding scientists from Shanghai Jiao Tong University: Qian Xuesen, Huang Xuhua, LuoPeilin, Yang Jiachi, Xu Guangxian, and Kong Hainan to illustrate their life stories.
