The first university exhibition of the IP brand "Generation Z in Shanghai" opened at Qian Xuesen Library & Museum on 17 October.
Professor Hu Hao, head of Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Department of Publicity, stated in his opening speech that the "Generation Z", which has grown up in the context of digitization and globalization, has become the main force of communication, profoundly affecting social development and changes in the international landscape. IP SHANGHAI launched the "Generation Z in Shanghai" communication project to depict a vivid picture of Shanghai becoming the “city of aspiration” for young people. It’s hoped that the young generation, from both home and abroad, can learn and interact with each other in Chinese higher education institutions.
The exhibition “Crossing Boundaries: Urban Innovation Driven by Generation Z” focuses on the theme of "Generation Z Driving: The Light of Shanghai Urban Innovation", showcasing cases of representatives from different countries and research fields. The exhibition will also travel to more Shanghai universities, inspiring more Generation Z to participate and share personal stories in Shanghai.
