National Space Administration Leaders Visited QLM

Liu Yunfeng, Deputy Director-General of the System Engineering Department of the China National Space Administration, led a delegation to visit Qian Xuesen Library & Museum on February 17, 2025.

 

The delegation reviewed Qian’s monumental scientific achievements and his arduous journey of returning to China. Liu emphasized that Qian’s profound affection tothe country and strategic vision serve as a guiding light for China’s contemporary aerospace industry. In the new era, he noted, inheriting Qian’s legacy and advancing technological innovation are vital to building China a strong aerospace nation.

 

2025 marks the 70th anniversary of Qian Xuesen’s return to China. In conjunction with the 10th China Space Day in April, QLM plans to launch a year-round series of commemorative activities. These will include a themed exhibition honoring Qian’s homecoming, academic symposiums and educational activities to promote scientific literacy and innovation for future generations.
