SJTU Signed Strategic Collaboration with SSTM

On July 11th, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation between Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai Science and Technology Museum (SSTM), as well as the "Interdisciplinary Travel · Science and Technology Innovation Space Station" event, took place at SSTM. DingKuiling, President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and academician of the CAS member, and Jiang Daorong, Secretary of the Party Committee of SSTM, delivered speeches in the ceremony.

 

In the panel discussion “Conversation with Directors”, QLM director Qian Yonggang, SSTM director Ni Minjing joined the discussion with other two CAS academicians. Panelists touched upon values of cooperation between universities and museums, and how university museums can utilize collections for public education. The full chain and deep level cooperation between the two sides can help with the promotion and dissemination of cutting-edge scientific research to a wider public.
